Alerts are notifications: whether by email or SMS
Alerts are email / SMS notifications. These can be created based on search results, news stories, search terms, keywords, phrases and updates. They are set by the user to obtain information and stay updated with the latest news.
How Alerts work ?
Reminders can be set as a email alert. Now you can set the mail alert for forth-coming important dates or events. Follow up with them without missing any one of them you can set the alert at specific time and eDesk Online will automatically send you an email regarding the appointment or the date for which you had set the reminder for.
