My eFavorites is a edeskonline utility that enables you to manage your favorite web-sites. When you find Web-sites that you like: then bookmarking them is a convenient way to organize them.

Add entries to My Favorites
To add a web-page to your list of favorite pages:
- Login to your eDeskOnline account. A webtop appears.
- Click upon the Favorites button on the webtop. Alternatively, click upon the start menu: click programs : then click upon Favorites .
- Right click the icon in the favorites tree that matches your your subject.
- Select Add to Favorites.
- In the dialog that pops up, type a name for the page.
- Type or paste the url of the page that you want to add to your Favorites list.
To open a favorite page
To open one of your favorite pages,
- Go to the relevant folder / label on the tree menu,
- Click the page you want to open: the relevant url, and remarks box will appear to the right hand side of your screen.
- Then chose between the two buttons: open link, and the button: OPen link in new window.
- Open Link: Allows you to go to the specific page and open the page in the same browser window.
- Open Link in New window : Allows you to go to the specific page and open the page in a different browser window.
Links on the blue bar
- Expand all
Allows you to expand the whole tree of links and browse through all together.
- Collapse all
Allows you to minimise the whole expanded tree of links and see only the folder headings.
The Tree View
All your favorites are displayed in a friendly tree view.
This allows you to keep your favorites in a logical manner.
There is a right-click option which in turn throws up the following options...
- Add: Allows you to add a link, its url and some remarks about the same, in your efavourites sections
- Delete; Allows you to delete a link, its url and remarks, from your efavourites sections.
- Expand this node: Allows you to expand the single folder and browse through all the links inside it.
- Collapse this node: Allows you to minimise the whole expanded folder and see only the folder heading.
To organize your favorite pages into folders
As your list of favorite pages grows, you can keep it organized by creating folders. You might want to organize your pages by topic. For example, you could create a folder named Art.
- On the Favorites menu, click Organize Favorites.
- Click Create Folder, type a name for the folder, and then press ENTER.

Remarks box
eFavorites is a unique facility provided to you by eDesk Online its uniqueness is that you can import your favorites into eDesk and use them anywhere and at any time all you have to do is to login to your eDesk Account and then go to eFavorite and then you can click on the links which you had imported, You can add, edit and also delete the favorites based on your choice.
Import Favorites
eDeskOnline automatically imports all your Internet Explorer bookmarks. On the Favorites menu, click the Import Favorites link. On clicking this option, a page opens with a box.
- Here one may import a Microsoft Internet Explorer Exported Favorites File.
This will automatically import all your favorites, and make them available for anytime, anywhere access.
- Open Internet Explorer and click on File and then click on Import/Export data.
Internet Explorer>>File>>Import/Export.
- A seperate Import/Export Wizard window opens up click on Next.
- After which Select Export Favorites and then click on next.
- Select a location for the .csv file on your local computer.
- Give your desired name for the file and save it on your local computer.
- Now open eDesk Online and login to your account.
- Navigation Start>>Import/Export>>Import Favorites.
- Click on Browse and locate the .csv file stored on your local computer and then click on Import.
Export favorites from Edeskonline to the computer
Exported favorites are saved as regular HTML files. So these can be imported onto Internet Explorer. The exported favorites file can be shared with other people by emailing it to them.
- First login to your edeskonline account.
- Then click on Favorites Icon on your webtop.
- Then click on Export Favorites link on the top left corner.
- After doing so, a zip file containing all your Favourite Links will be downloaded
- Click on Save, and you're done.
