Protect your data
Data needs to be safegaurded from risk of loss, damage, or destruction. The advantage of backing up your data is that you will not need to re-create the data. The integrity and consistency of your data is maintained so that your files are kept intact incase you want to restore or refer to them in the future. To ensure the absolute protection of your data, eDeskOnline operates on three levels.

eDeskOnline automatically backs up all your data on independent servers
Our main data server is located at a secure facility. Due to inevitable circumstances or technical malfunctions, data may get corrupt and consistency maybe lost. Hence, regular back-ups are constantly being taken to safegaurd against any accident at the server level, so as to minimize any risk of data loss.
Back-up your data within your eDeskOnline login
This single-click utility helps you protect your files by freezing your information.
- Simply go to your webtop
- select the start button
- Click on the option: Back-up.
Now you can see the following image:
- Just click on the option Take Backup Now & the backup is done.
For restoring the data, simply drop us a line, and we shall help you do it.
Copy all the data from eDeskOnline onto your computer
You can copy the data from eDeskOnline to the location or medium of your choice. Data can then be restored from the archived copy when necessary. The procedure to copy the data from the eDeskOnline environment piecemeal is as under..

Alternatively, one may go to the Webtop, select the start button, select the choice = Import/Export, and finally choose "Export". A new page will appear with five options in order to back up data. They are * eCabinet Export * eMails Export * eDocuments Export * eAccounts Export and * Calendar Export
