Copy your phone-book contacts to the eDeskOnline Address-book
- Why should one copy one's phone contacts to eDeskOnline ? The mobile-phone is an effective tool to store contact numbers. If your phone is lost, or is affected by a technical glitch, then one looses all the stored contacts. You can avoid such a loss by keeping a copy of your phonebook on the eDeskOnline site.
- No need to maintain two sets of phone-contacts: one on your computer, and the other on your cell-phone: the contacts will reside in-the-clouds: i.e securely on eDeskOnline's servers.
- Now one can easily watch his / her phone-contacts wherever he / she may be: whenever one wishes, one can access them online.
- Your secretary can insert a phone-contacts using any internet-enabled computer on eDeskOnline: you will be able to view by these contacts on your mobile phone.
- One may copy the contacts from the eDeskOnline address-book to one's mobile-phone.
- A very simple one-time set-up allows your mobile-phone to integrate with your information on the edeskonline site.
The steps to copying your phone-book contacts to the eDeskOnline Address-book are given below
- Go to the menu on your Mobile Phone.
- Select Applications.
- Click on the icon titled Edeskonline; you will see an image (see the first image below).
- Click on the link: Download Address Book ; you will see an image (see the second image below).
- This implies that the Address Book is being imported.
- Keep saying yes to the questions that will keep popping up.
- You will receive a final message that the Address Book have been copied to eDeskOnline.
- Check this by clicking going to the Webtop on eDeskOnline: and selecting the icon titled Address Book. Your phone-book contacts will appear in the group titled Mobile
Should have a drop-down box for directly associating a contact to groups.
Import & Export Data
You can import from Microsoft Outlook contacts, or from any other program where you can export your list. If you already have a list and don't want to have to waste time re-entering your contacts, simply export them from your current program and import them into eDeskOnline. The information from eDeskOnline can be exported into pdf, rtf, html, text, or Excel formats. If you used any previous version of Wedding Magic, you can use our separate import utility to import your Wedding Magic data!
