Email Procedure

how to attach file with an email
- After composing e-mail click Browse button near Select File to attach Text box. This will display choose file window.
- Choose the file and click on Open Button. This will automatically attach the file with your e-mail.
- Make sure you have attached the correct file. You can see the attached file name below Select file to attach text box.
- Finaly click send button to send the e-mail.
To View Incoming emails
- Click eMail option from your edesk webtop. This will open a new window for email application.
- Check the inboxes folder for incoming emails.
- Inbox shows all the incoming emails sent by your saved contacts
- Inbox (Unknown) shows the incoming emails from other email ids which are not saved in your Address book)
- Click on the incoming email in the right pane which you want to read. it will display the full details of the email below.
Login Procedure
- Open Internet Explorer (Make sure internet connection is available).
- Open website www.edeskonline.com. You will see homepage of the website.
- Click Login link from the home page.
- Type your edesk User name & Password on the login page.
- Click on login button to enter in your edesk account.
- Next You will see the webtop of your edesk account having icons like email, Addressbook, calendar etc.
- Click eMail option.

- How many email IDs per domain name will be available? Answer = Unlimited eMail ids.
- How much space will each Account have? 50 MB . Answer = : this is more than sufficient.
Content will be kept in a shared library
Content will be kept in a shared library; and e-mail will be used to communicate to a colleague the location of the content.
To draft email
- Click eMail option from your edesk webtop. This will open a new window for email application.
- Click on Compose. This will open a new window for composing email.
- Type your draft subject in the subject text box. Do not type anything in To text box.
- Type the matter (Standard matter which you can use later to send the similar emails everytime)
- Click Save Draft option at top of the window. This will save the draft in the draft folder of your email window.
