This icon allows you to know how much space has been allocated to you and how has been used up by you. For simplification eDesk has provided a separate icon on the Webtop from which you can access it from time to time and monitor your space usage.
If you feel, the space usage shown is higher than expected, please check your email trash bin. The space usage INCLUDES mails in the trash bin. Also check all your folders for emails with large attachments. Even large files uploaded to your document section will use up space.
Please compress your database by clicking the compress link on the page from time to time to free up space used by deleted data. Please note your account will be momentarily deactivated while the database is compacted. for security reasons this process is done.
How much storage space will I get to save my data online?
The storage space entirely depends on your usage plan which would be specified at the time of your sign up. However depending on your requirement and usage you can always upgrade for the convenient storage space which ever you feel is sufficient for you to store your documents online.
